From June to September 2025, I completed a secondment at the Division of Cellular and Molecular Pathology, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom

During my time in the Egger Lab at the “Medizinische Universität Wien”, I had the pleasure of working with Kristina Draganić to isolate primary macrophages from the whole blood of healthy donors.

Julia Montague, Enrique Abarca Ríos, and Rebekka Salzmann had the opportunity to represent the FANTOM network at the 30th Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA) in Milan.

Turner lab has established a patient-derived xenograft (PDX) model of ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL), which gave me access to fresh tumor samples.

My doctoral research focuses on drug-tolerant persister cells (DTPs) and drug resistance mechanisms in ALK+ anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) and other ALK+ malignancies, such as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

As part of the FANTOM EU project, I spent two weeks at CBmed in Graz, working on image analysis within the field of spatial proteomics, which was recently named Method of the Year 2024.
