During May I attended two engaging conferences where I had the opportunity to present the latest update of my research on Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.
From 12th to 13th of May I attended the 21st YSA Symposium of the Medical University of Vienna where I was selected for an oral talk and I had a short 10min presentation about PTPN1 and PTPN2 as potential new targets for ALCL. These two days were very important to connect with other young researcher from my university and learn about their projects, sharing ideas and get important feedbacks on my research.
Later in May from the 17th to 22nd I was in the beautiful Greece (Sissi, Crete) for the Aegean 7th International Conference on Cytokines in Cancer were I also was selected for an oral talk. There I also had the chance to present my data and I had very positive feedbacks from important PIs from all over the world. It was indeed a great meeting where I had the opportunity to talk with senior researchers and PIs about their work experiences and get important information for my future career. Nonetheless I also broadened my knowledge on cytokine signalling, immunotherapy and tumor microenvironment reprograming. Lastly I was awarded with a Trainee Award for my poster presentation.
