Introduction
Hi, I’m a cancer researcher working at the intersection of innovation and impact. At Masaryk University, I study therapy resistance in paediatric anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALK+ ALCL). Using cellular barcoding technology, I trace how individual cancer cells evolve under therapy, aiming to uncover why some cells survive and how we can stop them. My research is supervised by Prof. Suzanne Turner, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping my approach to tackling these challenges.
My research journey began in India, where I investigated chemoresistance in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) using a patient cohort from West Bengal. That experience ignited my passion for understanding tumor heterogeneity and the hidden mechanisms that drive resistance.
Today, I’m a proud Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow under the EU Horizon Europe program—a fellowship that supports my work and enables international collaboration. I also had the incredible opportunity to complete a secondment at the University of Cambridge, where I deepened my training in translational cancer biology.
My goal is simple but ambitious: to help design therapies that stay one step ahead of cancer.
